A new opportunity has arisen for a Workshop Coordinator to join our team at our Cold Meece site.

This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the workshop. Working closely with technicians, customers and other departments, you’ll help ensure jobs are planned, coordinated and completed efficiently, while maintaining high standards of customer service and communication.

Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.

Hours: Monday to Friday 7.00 am to 5.00 pm i.e. 47.5 hours per week. 30 minutes for lunch (unpaid).

Salary: £31,393 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

• Organise the daily production schedule to ensure bodyshop targets are achieved

• Liaise with management and team members to ensure contractual KPI’s and SLA’s are met.

• Approve vehicle estimates inline with customer standards, ensuring repair methods are correct and costings are accurate

• Communicate effectively with all departments onsite to ensure all vehicles are processed efficiently

• Organise PDI workflow to ensure all tasks are completed in line with vehicle due out dates

• Support daily planning activities

• Manage ADHOC jobs that fall out of normal processes (PDI claims, Site Damage etc.)

• Collate daily reports for all departments for site management teams.

Ideally, we are looking for:

• Previous experience in a Workshop Coordinator, Workshop Administrator or similar role.

• Good understanding of vehicle repair processes and workshop workflows.

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Highly organised with excellent time management and the ability to prioritise workloads.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, customers and other departments.

• Strong IT skills, including good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other relevant systems.

• A proactive and professional approach, with a strong attention to detail.
