An exciting opportunity has opened up for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team at our Shrewsbury site, working with leading brands including Vauxhall, Omoda, Jaecoo, and Chery.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering exceptional vehicle care — carrying out thorough inspections, maintenance, and repairs to the highest standards. Working alongside a talented and driven team, you’ll help ensure every vehicle is prepared to perfection, reinforcing our commitment to quality, efficiency, and outstanding customer satisfaction.

Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.

Hours: Monday to Thursday - 8.00am to 5.00pm, Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm, i.e. 41.5 hours per week, 30 minutes lunch break (unpaid).

Salary: Dependent on experience, will be discussed at interview stage

Key Responsibilities:

• Following a job card to carry out approved repairs.

• Removing and refitting parts across multiple brands of vehicles.

• Ability to understand and follow advised customers repair standards.

• Ability to problem solve and diagnose basic mechanical and electrical issues.

• Completing safety checks (Mechanical Inspections) on newly arrived vehicles.

• Ensure all repairs are carried out to a high standard and quality check your own work.

• Maintain a tidy and safe work environment.

Ideally, we are looking for:

• Good knowledge and understanding of multi brand cars and vans.

• Previous experience in mechanical and electrical fitting.

• NVQ level 3 in light vehicle maintenance and repair.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

• Have a strong understanding of Health and Safety requirements.

• Willingness to go on a MOT testers course if not already a qualified tester.
